Preparation for the Summer Holidays for your Child with ASD/ADHD
Whilst the Summer can be an enjoyable time it also brings along with it change in routine, new environments, crowds and queues, uncertainty and possibly a time of transition such as from Primary School to Secondary School. Your child’s Paediatrician/GP/allied Health Professional may be able to provide written information regarding your child’s diagnosis and how it affects them so you
can access any additional support available when travelling. Most Airports now within the UK at least are able to provide additional support/ explanation/preparation for Families and People with ASD/ADHD or other Conditions who are due to pass through their Service. Individual Airlines also have support they may be able to offer if you wish to make them aware of your Child’s diagnosis.
